Superstar a Commercial Hit For His/Her Deviance

The Daily Wire reported that Dylan Mulvaney, a self-proclaimed transgender activist and social media star has received multiple lucrative sponsorships from large corporations, generating criticism from many who believe advocating transgenderism is harmful to adolescents.

Mulvaney’s TikTok following exceeds 1 million followers. The biological male, who identifies as female (and occasionally as the seven-year-old fictional character Madeline), announced a new partnership with Bud Light beer last weekend.

A representative from the beer’s parent company claimed the partnership was part of an effort to “authentically connect” with its customers.

Many report that Mulvaney has become a polarizing household name.

The former Broadway actor has landed partnership deals with Ulta Beauty and fashion house Kate Spade. The female-oriented companies received significant backlash for partnering with a biological male.

Ulta featured Mulvaney alongside a “gender-fluid” hairdresser. Negative feedback led to Ulta executives turning off comments on their social media channels.

A spokesperson for Ulta said: “We believe beauty is for everyone. And while we recognize some conversations we host will challenge perspectives and opinions, we believe constructive dialogue is one important way to move beauty forward.”

In February, Kate Spade posted a video featuring Mulvaney shopping for dresses and the “perfect spring outfit.” The video generated negative feedback as well.

Mulvaney has promoted beer, Nike and Alate bras, Zenvy leggings, Instacart, Crest toothpaste, CeraVe skin care and Ulta Beauty products as part of his “moments of girlhood” TikTok posts.

President Joe Biden has also embraced Mulvaney, inviting him to discuss “gender-affirming healthcare” at a White House event last year.

Daily Wire host Matt Walsh noted in a commentary this week that transgenderism is an inherently “progressive” movement.

Daily Wire reported Walsh as saying that transgenderism is like “bone cancer eating away at its host until there’s nothing left to consume” that demands receiving incessant validation because its “assumptions” are “constantly on the verge of collapse.”

Walsh added that transgenderism is “perched precariously on this edge, and it must be aggressively propped up all the time, every second of the day.”

The Daily Wire host continued: “The trans person individually barely believes the claims he makes about himself and his own identity. His self-perception is this superficial, ephemeral thing. It’s a lie that he whispers constantly to himself, and he shouts it at the world and demands that it be shouted back to him.”

Walsh concluded: “No other group needs this kind of support because no other group is in a constant state of trying to convince itself that it exists.”
