Former President Donald Trump made history by being the first president to make a White House office dedicated to fighting sex trafficking. He made an incredible impact and continues to make an impact to this day.
Recently, 368 people were arrested and 131 victims were saved on February 1 through “Operation Reclaim and Rebuild” in California.
The operation was conducted over seven days in nine counties, including Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino.
“The victims’ ages in this operation were found to be between 13 and 52 years of age, with six of them being juveniles,” Chief Michael Moore said at a news conference at the LAPD Elysian Park Academy.
“The average age of most victims was in their mid-20s, and our investigators worked diligently alongside our victim advocacy groups in providing these victims with services and resources to help them escape from this life-threatening environment.”
The investigators responded to advertisements offering sexual services, and also went to massage parlors where people were suspected of being involved in sex trafficking.
Moore noted that in the old days, the victims of human trafficking were often regarded by law enforcement as criminals, but in recent days, the attitude has shifted. They are regarded as having been exploited by criminals, many of them being kidnapped and held against their will.
“We know that the sex trade is a prolific one that exists throughout this state and throughout our nation,” Moore said. “It’s an ugly scar against this great country that exists too oftentimes in plain sight.”
Jaco Booyens, the founder of SHAREtogether and outspoken anti-human trafficking voice, said “No former president in the history of this country has used his or her platform to denounce the exploitation of children and then appropriate funding. So we’ve seen an incredible impact over the years, over the last four years, particularly towards the support for law enforcement.”
“We’ve seen a tremendous rise in apprehension, the arrest of perpetrators and rescue of victims under the Trump administration, no question about it.”
He also mentioned that properly funding law enforcement has helped in these efforts.
“In these cases that you’re seeing now such as California, and you’ll see some others coming out now, they’ve been 9, 10 months in the making under the Trump administration—in that mechanism of funding law enforcement appropriately, having special task forces,” Booyens continued.
Trump recently spoke in Columbia, South Carolina that he will bring an end to “radical racists and perverts” indoctrinating our children in schools.
“We’re going to stop the left-wing radical racists and perverts who are trying to indoctrinate our youth,” Trump said. “And we’re going to get their Marxist hands off of our children.”
The media, of course, has also refused to highlight the measures and successes of Trump’s priority to target child and human trafficking.

In one of his first acts in office, Trump signed the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (S. 1312), establishing a new prevention, prosecution, and collaboration initiative to bring human traffickers to justice.
On December 21, 2017, Trump signed the Abolish Human Trafficking Act which strengthened programs supporting human trafficking survivors.
On December 31, 2017, Trump designated January 2018 as a month dedicated to combating human trafficking.
On January 9, 2019, Trump signed the Human Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act which gave $430 million to fight human trafficking not only in America but worldwide.
On October 20, 2020, Trump’s Department of Human Services (DHS) launched a brand-new center for countering human trafficking.
