During a recent GOP primary debate, business leader and political analyst Vivek Ramaswamy stirred the pot with a provocative declaration, Your Content has learned.
He claimed to be the sole candidate on the platform not influenced by external interests. He further argued that the focus on climate change is a deception, suggesting that “flawed climate policies are causing more deaths than climate change itself.
The debate featured a variety of Republican contenders discussing a wide array of topics, from fiscal matters to social issues. Yet, it was Ramaswamy’s audacious comments on climate change that captured the most attention. His statements come amid growing global concern about climate change, as governments and institutions worldwide advocate for greener initiatives.
“I’m the only person on this stage who isn’t bought and paid for, so I can freely say—The Climate change agenda is a HOAX. We’re seeing more lives lost due to misguided climate policies than from climate change itself,” Ramaswamy asserted during the debate.
While Ramaswamy didn’t offer concrete evidence to substantiate his claims at the debate, the World Health Organization reports that approximately 12.6 million deaths annually are linked to unhealthy environmental conditions, many worsened by climate change.
Moreover, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has repeatedly presented scientific findings that affirm the existence of climate change and its negative impact on human well-being.
