President Joe Biden is raising eyebrows after a message he sent to young visitors at the White House.
During an event at the White House on Wednesday to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act, the president addressed children who were in attendance.
“I wanna say one thing to your children. I know some really great ice cream places around here and daddy owes you,” Biden said.
He added, “So talk to me afterwards.”

One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote, “This didn’t come across the way he was hoping.”
“President Stranger Danger,” wrote conservative commentator Stephen Miller.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) shared the video with a grimacing emoji and the hashtag, “Stranger Danger.”
Another user wrote, “Totally normal, stable and coherent thing to say to strangers’ kids.”
Biden has previously faced criticism for remarks and gestures that some found to be creepy.
