Anyone remember when Claire Huxtable was invited to join a “The McLaughlin Group” style show, but the old men only wanted her to speak if it was about black or woman things? The White House has that same energy with Kamala Harris. They send her to pro-abortion roundtables, and to Florida where she can lie about what Ron DeSantis thinks of slavery. So the governor is inviting her to lie to his face. Or, to be more precise in my language, “set the record straight.”
Florida released their educational standards for Florida schools. They talk about the horrors of slavery. And how terrible slavery was. And what a stain slavery was on American history. Swipe left. 0/10 stars. Would not recommend.
One sentence said, “Instruction includes how slaves developed skills which, in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit.” Harris rushed to Jacksonville to lie and say that sentence said “Middle school students will be taught that enslaved people benefited from slavery.”
Much like with “Don’t Say Gay,” the left knows if they lie they can count on the media to swear by it. This time they had the added benefit of knowing the White House lies would be amplified by DeSantis’s chief rival in the presidential race.
DeSantis invited Kamala to have a little chat. “We will be happy to host you here in Tallahassee. I will ask Dr. William Allen–instrumental in the development of our impressive new standards–to join. We welcome you of course, to bring Randi Weingarten or someone else who shares your view about the standards.”
Providing Harris isn’t busy visiting the border or anything.
To be clear, it ISN’T just that one sentence Kamala is lying about. She is also all-in on the book-banning lie. And she thinks kids are being taught the holocaust wasn’t so bad either.
Lying about slavery opened the door to Kamala lying about the Holocaust, lying about bool banning, and worst, lying about parents who are concerned about what materials schools are indoctrinating their kids with behind their back. This is why you ALWAYS push back on the Democrat and media (but I repeat myself) narrative. Yes, even when you’ve endorsed one of DeSantis’s GOP rivals.
It’d be nice if Harris took America’s Governor up on his offer. They won’t, but it would make for great content.
