The committee has found that at least&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2023\/05\/10\/gop-oversight-chair-i-trust-whistleblower-biden-bribery-probe\/\">nine members of the Biden family<\/a>&nbsp;have received payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The White House has continually said the president was not aware of, or involved in, the business dealings of his son. The president has said there is a wall of separation between himself and his son\u2019s business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In July, Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, released an FD-1023 form from the FBI showing that a confidential informant told the bureau that an executive with Burisma, a Ukrainian energy firm, paid a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2023\/07\/20\/newly-released-document-details-what-fbi-informant-learned-biden-bribery-charge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$5 million bribe<\/a>&nbsp;to Biden while he was vice president to affect U.S. policy to benefit the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTaken together, these allegations paint a picture of a culture of corruption,\u201d McCarthy said. \u201cThrough our investigations, we know that the president did lie to the American people about his own knowledge of his family\u2019s business dealings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After McCarthy\u2019s announcement, Ian Sams, senior adviser to the White House counsel\u2019s office, tweeted the House Republicans have \u201cturned up no evidence of wrongdoing\u201d by the president. No president was ever removed by the required two-thirds vote in the Senate.
