However, this isn\u2019t the case for&nbsp;<strong>Adric White<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The family members of a robbery suspect that held a store employee at gunpoint in Alabama are lashing out at the Good Samaritan who shot him and stopped the robbery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">18-year-old&nbsp;<strong>White<\/strong>&nbsp;has five separate robbery charges hanging over his head, but it was the latest that put that dangerous string to a halt.&nbsp;<strong>White<\/strong>&nbsp;was holding up a Family Dollar when a legally-armed man just so happened to pull up as the robbery was taking place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Good Samaritan, who requested he not be identified, told&nbsp;<strong>FOX10 News<\/strong>&nbsp;he was shopping at the Family Dollar on Stanton Road when he noticed a masked gunman leading one of the employees to the front of the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cHe had the gun to his head. He had him on his knees,\u201d&nbsp;<\/em><strong>said the man.<\/strong><em>&nbsp;\u201cI drew my gun on him and I said \u2018Hey don\u2019t move.\u2019 At that point he swung around and before he had a chance to aim the gun at me I fired. I didn\u2019t want to shoot him.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Good Samaritan added that he wouldn\u2019t have done anything differently. He said he didn\u2019t know how it would have played out if he had not shot the suspect.&nbsp;<strong>White<\/strong>&nbsp;could have&nbsp;<strong>\u201cfired a shot outside,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;had he remained neutral. But<strong>&nbsp;\u201cmy daughter was outside.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20370%20247'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" class=\"zeen-lazy-load-base zeen-lazy-load\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.opposingviews.com\/.image\/t_share\/MTg2NDY0MDYxNjgzMjEzNDQx\/robber2.png\" alt=\"Photo Credit: Post Image\"\/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.opposingviews.com\/.image\/t_share\/MTg2NDY0MDYxNjgzMjEzNDQx\/robber2.png\" alt=\"Photo Credit: Post Image\"\/><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>White<\/strong>, who was shot five times, was transported to USA Medical Center, where he remains in police custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Relatives of&nbsp;<strong>Adric White<\/strong>&nbsp;believe the Good Samaritan who opened fire should have&nbsp;<strong>\u201cjust left the store.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIf his (the customer) life was not in danger, if no one had a gun up to him, if no one pointed a gun at him \u2013 what gives him the right to think that it\u2019s okay to just shoot someone?\u201d said the mother. \u201cYou should have just left the store and went wherever you had to go in your car or whatever.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FOX10<\/strong>&nbsp;had interviewed White\u2019s parents but they later called and demanded the video not be aired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is so bodacious about this is the fact that White was out on bond for robbing The Original Oyster House at gunpoint a little more than a month before the Family Dollar robbery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Another relative of White was mum about the accusations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cWe don\u2019t know. Like I said, we don\u2019t know anything. We only know what we\u2019ve been hearing second hand through the news.
