{"id":5335,"date":"2023-09-05T13:19:28","date_gmt":"2023-09-05T18:19:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nakedpolitics.net\/?p=5335"},"modified":"2023-09-05T13:19:28","modified_gmt":"2023-09-05T18:19:28","slug":"fbi-admits-to-1200-docs-connected-to-unlawfully-targeting-radical-traditionalist-christians","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nakedpolitics.net\/?p=5335","title":{"rendered":"FBI admits to 1,200 docs connected to unlawfully targeting \u2018radical traditionalist\u2019 Christians"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FBI admitted via a FOIA request filed by the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) that it has found 1,200 document pages that are related to the unlawful targeting of \u201cradical traditionalist\u201d Christians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPreviously, we told you about our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request regarding the FBI\u2019s targeting of \u2018radical traditionalist\u2019 Christians under the guise of targeting \u2018white supremacy.\u2019 Specifically, an FBI intelligence analyst wrote what is called a \u2018Domain Perspective,\u2019 i.e., a memo outlining the ideas and habits of a group under surveillance \u2013 i.e., conservative and pro-life Christians in churches,\u201d the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aclj.org\/religious-liberty\/shocking-biden-fbi-tells-court-it-has-found-1200-pages-of-documents-potentially-responsive-to-our-foia-about-its-targeting-of-radical-traditionalist-christians?utm_medium=Social&amp;utm_source=Twitter&amp;utm_campaign=d-09042023_seg-jaytw_top-PL_typ-AR_con-1200documents_var-A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACLJ<\/a>&nbsp;reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe ACLJ then leaped into action and sent a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/americanwirenews.com\/fbi-scrambles-to-retract-after-leaked-document-reportedly-outlines-bureau-plan-to-spy-on-catholics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FOIA to the FBI in order to expose<\/a>&nbsp;who in the FBI knew about and was behind this abhorrent memo. When the FBI did not comply, we went to court. The Biden FBI has just informed the ACLJ and a federal judge that it has found at least 1,200 pages of \u2018potentially responsive documents\u2019 to our FOIA and needs more time to continue further searches. This begs the question: What in the world is the FBI doing with 1,200 pages of documents related to the targeting of Christians?\u201d the organization asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s a great question quickly followed by, \u201cWhat are they trying to hide?\u201d It\u2019s evident the FBI is buying time, trying to figure out how to spin the targeting of Christians. Of note, while they are allegedly going after Christians, no one in the domestic terrorist group Jane\u2019s Revenge has ever been arrested for attacking pro-life advocates and clinics in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning\u00a0<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">After we filed a FOIA request, the Biden Administration informed us that it found 1,200 pages of documents related to the unlawful targeting of \u201cradical traditionalist\u201d Christians.\u00a0<br><br>This begs the question \u2013 what is in these pages? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lv1qwZYJih\">https:\/\/t.co\/lv1qwZYJih<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Jay Sekulow (@JaySekulow) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JaySekulow\/status\/1698781983487283708?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 4, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTwo questions immediately come to mind about the pages: (1) Why is the FBI surveilling churches at all?
