He\u2019s got good energy, and he could be some form of something. I tell you, I think he\u2019d be very good. I think he\u2019s very good. I think he\u2019s really distinguished himself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The timing of Mr. Trump\u2019s remarks is noteworthy, as they come shortly after the first GOP debate, where he\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/trump-confirms-he-will-skip-first-gop-presidential-debate-5477502\" target=\"_blank\">opted not to participate<\/a>\u00a0but pledged to observe for potential vice presidential contenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The former president\u2019s interest in Mr. Ramaswamy adds a layer of intrigue to the unfolding political landscape, especially given Mr. Ramaswamy\u2019s rapid rise from an unknown long-shot candidate with a mere 1 percent polling support to a serious contender who has been attracting attention from prominent GOP figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Mr. Trump has signaled his appreciation for Mr. Ramaswamy\u2019s potential as a running mate, he also voiced some caution regarding the entrepreneur\u2019s tendency to court controversy. In the same interview, Mr. Trump expressed advice for Mr. Ramaswamy to exercise discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe\u2019s starting to get out there a little bit. He\u2019s getting a little bit controversial. I got to tell him to be a little bit careful. Chris Christie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ms. Haley sparred with him during the GOP primary debate, challenging his foreign policy experience.
