US Ambassador to Hungary David Pressman, who is gay, has\u00a0attacked his host country<\/a>\u00a0for \u201canti-LGBTQ\u201d policies. Speaking in Budapest on Aug. 26, Tucker Carlson said that \u201cthe behavior of the American Ambassador to Hungary makes me want to apologize. It\u2019s disgusting and inexcusable.\u201d<\/span><\/em>

\u201cThe point of diplomacy is not to hector other nations\u201d, Carlson said. \u201cTo show up in someone else\u2019s country and scream at them because they\u2019re different from you\u2026 That is the opposite of diplomacy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd so, for a creep like David Pressman \u2013 who is not a diplomat, he was a political activist and Biden donor \u2013 to show up in your country and lecture you about your culture and threaten you because you do things differently\u2026 hurts the United States, is a grave embarrassment to me as an American and an outrage as someone who pays his salary. It\u2019s disgusting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDavid Pressman is doing this, not on behalf of the American people, who do not share his views, he\u2019s doing it on behalf of a tiny percentage of the American population, on behalf of an interest group, the Human Rights Campaign, paid by US taxpayers to attack you because you have views he doesn\u2019t like\u201d, Tucker said, referring to conservative Catholic Hungarians\u2019 traditional family views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat never happened before\u201d, Tucker said. \u201cNobody from the State Department can get away with that. He\u2019d be recalled immediately, scolded and fired, as David Pressman should be\u201c (applause).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m embarrassed I share a country of birth with a villain like this\u201d, Tucker said. \u201cIt\u2019s horrifying.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy advice is, just wait it out\u201d, Tucker said. \u201cThe United States is in a place right now where this is not sustainable. You can\u2019t run a global empire based on the imposition of boutique sexual politics on countries that don\u2019t want them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

35 years ago, his father (Reagan diplomat and Voice of America<\/em> head Dick Carlson) visited Budapest when they were still under the yoke of the Soviets\u201d, Tucker noted. \u201cThe purpose of American diplomacy in Eastern Europe was to help liberate the countries so they could liberate themselves. The idea was, you didn\u2019t want foreign superpowers telling you how to live, because that\u2019s the opposite of democracy. That\u2019s tyranny.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Soviet Union told you, you had to worship Lenin. The State Department tells you, you have to worship transvestites. It\u2019s not so different. It\u2019s a foreign power pushing its weird boutique religion on you. It\u2019s wrong. You worship whatever you want. It\u2019s your country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI love my county\u201d, Tucker said, \u201cbut the people who run it now are dangerous and insane.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
