However, despite the Biden administration announcing the new health office in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Blinken avoided mentioning the latest information pertaining to the origin of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/launch-of-the-bureau-of-global-health-security-and-diplomacy\/\" target=\"_blank\">press release<\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday, Blinken laid out the vision for the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy, which is designed to integrate global health security as a fundamental part of American national security and foreign policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Bureau\u2019s overarching mission is to fortify the global health security architecture to effectively prevent, detect, control, and respond to infectious diseases, including HIV\/AIDS,\u201d Blinken stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strikingly, there was no comment regarding recent revelations surrounding the potential origins of the Covid-19 virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The creation of the Bureau is in response to the Biden administration\u2019s belief that a unified approach to global health crises is needed,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2023\/08\/01\/biden-admin-announces-new-global-health-security-office-without-a-single-mention-of-covid-origins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to&nbsp;<\/a>The Daily Caller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Covid-19 pandemic underscored the vital role the United States must play in addressing global health and health security issues,\u201d Blinken stated, adding that the Bureau will provide a unified voice on global health security and diplomacy.
