Her legal career includes stints at other private law firms and serving as a public defender in Washington D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2023\/08\/01\/trump-judge-firm-boies-schiller-flexner-hunter-biden-burisma-tanya-chutkan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to<\/a>&nbsp;The Daily Caller, internal emails show that Hunter Biden had stated that the law firm Boies, Schiller, &amp; Flexner LLP (BSF) could provide \u201cprotection\u201d and work with government officials on Burisma\u2019s behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A graduate of George Washington University and the University of Pennsylvania law school, Chutkan\u2019s nomination was praised in 2013 by Don Flexner, who highlighted her as a person of \u201cjust consummate decency.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hunter Biden\u2019s association with BSF began in the same year he was appointed to Burisma\u2019s board in April 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/bidenlaptopemails.com\/biden-emails\/email.php?id=20140413-014330_12125\" target=\"_blank\">Emails<\/a>\u00a0on his laptop reveal discussions with business associate Devon Archer about how BSF could devise media plans, arrange legal protections, and even mitigate negative press regarding the current leadership of Burisma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2014, Hunter Biden communicated with BSF partners like Christopher Boies and Heather King to assist Burisma, according to The Daily Caller. Emails from May 2014 indicate King\u2019s strategizing with Burisma on handling the press and influencing government officials, even suggesting the hiring of professional lobbyists and PR firms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the selection of the judge responsible for overseeing the former president\u2019s case, Monica Crowley, former assistant secretary of the Treasury,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MonicaCrowley\/status\/1686718764627152896\" target=\"_blank\">tweeted<\/a>, \u201cThe judge in the Trump J6 case \u2013 an Obama appointee and donor \u2013 worked at the same law firm as Hunter Biden.
