Sources close to the 45th president told Axios that his return to Twitter, once a refuge where Trump could air his grievances and take his message directly to the public, may be imminent. For the past year, President Trump has maintained his exclusivity with Truth Social where he is a majority owner and has a financial stake in its success. However, the allure of reopening his account on one of America\u2019s most mainstream social media outlets may be too difficult to ignore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Biden administration prosecutors&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/trendingpoliticsnews.com\/watch-trump-rails-on-deranged-prosecutor-jack-smith-details-his-career-of-political-hitjobs-mstef\/\">pursuing<\/a>&nbsp;President Trump in federal court, people close to the former president\u2019s team feel a return to Twitter would enable him to more forcefully combat the allegations of wrongdoing which consumed media headlines in the weeks following his latest indictment. Sources say his return to Twitter, where President Trump amassed over 88 million followers before he was permanently banned from the platform in the wake of January 6, 2021, Capitol breach, could be a potent force for offsetting bad news, including another possible indictment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Social media watchers believe President Trump is caught between a lucrative business deal and the chance for greater media exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">\u201cPresident Trump needs to make Twitter great again.
