During the 2020 Presidential race, Biden made a similar statement, saying he was \u201craised\u201d in a black church in Delaware where he was supposedly a civil rights organizer. Congregants and staff at the church to which Biden was referring, Union Baptist Church in Wilmington, claim they have no memory of Biden ever attending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in October of 2020, the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/10\/12\/members-of-black-delaware-church-dont-recall-biden-being-raised-there\/\" target=\"_blank\">New York Post<\/a>&nbsp;reported:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">[C]ongregants and a longtime assistant to Herring at the prominent black church told the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/2020-election\/members-dont-recall-bidens-attendance-at-black-church-as-teen\/\" target=\"_blank\">Washington Free Beacon<\/a>&nbsp;this week that they never remembered Biden attending as he claimed, and said he met Herring as an adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked if Biden attended Union Baptist, Phyllis Drummond, Herring\u2019s longtime assistant who attended the church for four decades, said: \u201cNo. Not at our building.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Juanita Matthew, another longtime member, told the Free Beacon that she also wasn\u2019t aware of Biden\u2019s attendance as a high school student.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefirsttv.com\/liar-in-chief-joe-biden-repeats-dubious-claim-that-he-attended-a-black-church\/\">https:\/\/www.thefirsttv.com\/liar-in-chief-joe-biden-repeats-dubious-claim-that-he-attended-a-black-church\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0\u00a0 President Biden has returned to a dubious claim that he used to attend a black church as a young man, a story he often repeated during stump speeches given during the 2020 election.
