Doing nothing can make things worse.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why it matters<\/strong>: Biden, 80, is running for a second four-year term as president of the United States. Concerned citizens have repeatedly expressed alarm over the state of his physical and mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 The president suffered a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/watch-biden-takes-hard-fall-at-air-force-academy-graduation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">near-fatal fall<\/a>&nbsp;last month at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony in Colorado. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among Americans over the age of 65.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 In September of 2022, Biden attempted to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/silver-alert-bidens-bumbles-hit-new-low\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">converse<\/a>&nbsp;with a congresswoman who died a month earlier. That episode is merely one of the most memorable examples of his innumerable brain-related gaffes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Biden may have exacerbated his risk of cognitive decline by neglecting to properly treat his longstanding&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/biden-sleep-apnea-dementia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sleep apnea<\/a>, the&nbsp;<em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em>&nbsp;reported in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Tucker Carlson heard members of Biden&#8217;s family say &#8220;out loud that he had dementia,&#8221; the former Fox News host&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/culture\/a-cesspool-of-narcissistic-insular-self-gratification-how-the-mainstream-media-squandered-the-publics-trust-and-how-to-win-it-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told<\/a>&nbsp;journalist Steve Krakauer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Crucial context<\/strong>:&nbsp;<em>Axios<\/em>&nbsp;cofounder Jim VandeHei is also prone to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/media\/alert-journo-fight-at-white-house-correspondents-dinner-after-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fits of rage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Be smart<\/strong>: Biden is not qualified to serve as commander in chief, and neither is Vice President Kamala Harris.
