appearing to down a petition against it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Anna Goodman of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine specialises in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/valiantnews.com\/category\/climate-hysteria\/\">\u201cevaluating sustainable transport interventions,\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;and is the joint lead in an upcoming \u00a31.5 million study into the effect of \u201clow traffic neighbourhoods.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These schemes, shortened to LTNs and known as \u201c15 minute cities,\u201d restrict and regulate the freedom of citizens to drive in certain areas if you do not live in them,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spectator.co.uk\/article\/the-madness-of-low-traffic-neighbourhoods\/\">subjecting people to fines<\/a>, and blocking off roads entirely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last week&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2023\/07\/01\/low-traffic-neighbourhoods-anna-goodman-removes-poster-cctv\/\">Goodman was seen tearing down a petition poster in a shop in West Dulwich, London,<\/a>&nbsp;that encouraged residents to demand the local Lambeth Council not go ahead with their proposed road closures, warning against the effect it could have on local businesses, as well as increasing congestion and pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the footage, Goodman seemed to wait until the coast was clear before tearing the poster down.
