President Joe Biden visited a \u201cmigrant services center\u201d in El Paso that provides transportation and gifts to migrants that cross the US-Mexico border illegally this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the tour, Biden asked workers at the center, \u201cIf I could wave the wand, what should I do?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hill\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0Biden \u201cspoke with workers in front of a Salvation Army sign that said \u201cWELCOME\u201d and was shown packages with socks, shoes, clothes, and other goods.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The migrant center \u201cgreets people who have been released from border patrol and helps by providing transportation and care packages.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBiden asked the workers how many migrants have come through the center and was told there\u2019s about 300 to 500 migrants per day on average but some days have peaks of about 1000 migrants a day,\u201d the Hill noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Biden\u00a0launched\u00a0<\/a>into a bizarre impression of how he believes \u201cMAGA Republicans\u201d speak about immigration on Thursday, raising eyebrows among his critics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd think about it, even back in days when, um \u2026 \u201d Biden said said, trailing off for several seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s so easy to demagogue this issue,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt\u2019s so easy to demagogue it. And you hear, you know uh, a number of our friends \u2013 the MAGA Republicans \u2013 talking about uh, you know uh, \u2018They don\u2019t even want me speaking English anymore, They want me speaking duh duh duh!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThey\u2019re gonna take over my community,\u2019\u201d Biden continued. \u201cMy neigh \u2013 they, they, whoever they are at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
