Trump reacted strongly after news broke that \u201ca small number\u201d of classified documents were found in President Joe Biden\u2019s former office at a Washington D.C. think tank that he used during the time when he was vice president, a discovery that raises issues of double standards along with hypocrisy after Attorney General Merrick Garland signed off on an unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago last summer to confiscate classified material from his residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a bombshell&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/01\/09\/us\/politics\/biden-classified-documents.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a>, The New York Times stated that the documents were found in early November \u201cin a locked closet\u201d by the current president\u2019s lawyers as they were \u201cpacking files\u201d at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. The National Archives were notified the same day and retrieved the classified papers the next day, according to a White House statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOfficials did not describe precisely how many documents were involved, what kind of information they included or their level of classification,\u201d the Times reported, informing readers that the shocking discovery could prompt Garland to appoint a special counsel and the nation\u2019s top law enforcement official has assigned John R. Lausch Jr, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois who was first appointed by Trump, \u201cto look into the matter, according to two people familiar with the decision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House?\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social along with a link to a CBS News story that Lausch is reviewing the documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20370%20247'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/americanwirenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/TrumpBidenDocsSG-600-x-485.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"zeen-lazy-load-base zeen-lazy-load wp-image-86517\"\/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/americanwirenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/TrumpBidenDocsSG-600-x-485.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-86517\"\/><\/noscript><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>(Image: Screengrab\/Truth Social)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FBI\u2019s storming of Trump\u2019s South Florida residence to retrieve materials that, unlike Biden, he had the power to declassify, was a major escalation in the regime\u2019s war on the ex-POTUS, a raid that many have likened to something normally seen in a third-world banana republic and the coming days along with what Garland could serve as further validation for those who believe that there are two systems of justice in America, one for Democrats and another for their political adversaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe discovery of these documents was made by the President\u2019s attorneys,\u201d Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president confirmed,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/biden-center-classified-documents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according<\/a>&nbsp;to CBS News. \u201cThe documents were not the subject of any previous request or inquiry by the Archives.
