One of the outlet\u2019s latest projects,&nbsp;<em>Palestine Declassified<\/em>, a video series, reaches over 7.2 followers and includes presentations by accused antisemites such as David Miller, a former University of Bristol professor who was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.algemeiner.com\/2021\/10\/01\/university-of-bristol-fires-david-miller-professor-accused-of-antisemitic-comments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fired<\/a>&nbsp;for harassing Jewish students. Fifty-one percent of&nbsp;<em>Palestine Declassified\u2019s&nbsp;<\/em>content is viewed by Western audiences, the report said, and its website amasses over a million viewers a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s so disturbing is the extent to which this hateful propaganda is being spread beyond Iranian audiences to reach potentially millions of people globally on the major social media platforms,\u201d ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said on Thursday in a press release. \u201cProviding that kind of reach to this kind of antisemitic bile is inexcusable, and we urge Meta and Twitter to immediately launch an investigation and to take action to prevent Press TV and the Iranian regime\u2019s other media outlets from misusing these social platforms for harm.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ADL and CCDH called on Meta, which owns Facebook, and Twitter to set and enforce rules against posting antisemitic content, factor previous bans of certain outlets when assessing if their content violates their rules, and designating&nbsp;<em>Palestine Declassified&nbsp;<\/em>as a \u201cforeign state hate operation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPress TV is a tool of Iranian state influence which exists solely to promote damaging propaganda to the rest of the world, most notably hateful views of Jewish people, the Holocaust, as well as LGBTQ+ and women\u2019s rights,\u201d Imran Ahmed, CEO of the CCDH said. \u201cFacebook and Twitter are complicit in providing Iranian state propagandists with the reach and amplification they need to evade domestic broadcasts bans, and influence millions of new viewers in the West.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facebook and Twitter have previously been accused of allowing antisemitic content on their platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March, the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) issued a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.digitalhate.net%2Findex.php&amp;data=05%7C01%7Cjlambert%40rubensteinpr.com%7Cc7b5898b2d72458607b708db298a8cf7%7Cffbc50bb17cb4b66a48a02f4d1b60a4f%7C0%7C0%7C638149447265100535%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=km0rXJbAtcaOCO6En6OOaXycY5LcexEV2emRqLxtQHM%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Digital Terrorism and Hate Report Card<\/a>\u201d indicating that major social media platforms have had significant problems addressing and moderating the proliferation of antisemitic content on their sites. Facebook, which also owns and administers Instagram, earned a C, while TikTok and Twitter were given a D and D-. Google and Reddit received the highest grades of all platforms assessed by SWC, earning and B and B-.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As previously&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.algemeiner.com\/2023\/02\/09\/neo-nazis-flocked-to-twitter-after-musk-takeover-new-report-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<em>The Algemeiner<\/em>, Elon Musk\u2019s takeover of Twitter, which has over 500 million users, has brought droves of neo-Nazis and extremists to the platform, according to a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/combatantisemitism.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/CAM_Musk-Ye-Groypers_1.26.23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a>&nbsp;published by Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) in February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separate data compiled by Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) with support from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) shows that antisemitic tweets mentioning George Soros and \u201cglobalists\u201d have doubled since he first offered to buy it in April.
