<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/5dIPtCH7RY\">pic.twitter.com\/5dIPtCH7RY<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DailyCaller\/status\/1590457864585637888?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 9, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhile any seat lost is painful \u2014&nbsp;some good Democrats didn\u2019t win&nbsp;last night \u2014 Democrats had a&nbsp;strong night, and we lost fewer&nbsp;seats in the House of Representatives than any&nbsp;Democratic president\u2019s first&nbsp;midterm election in the last 40&nbsp;years, and we had the best midterm&nbsp;for governors since 1986,\u201d Biden said.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/11\/09\/gop-hopes-dashed-on-the-rocks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>(RELATED:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/11\/09\/gop-hopes-dashed-on-the-rocks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>GOP Hopes Dashed On The Rocks)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He focused on what his administration has accomplished and said that in the event of a Republican Congress, he will not \u201csupport any Republican proposal that\u2019s going to make things worse,\u201d noting that he has the power to veto anything congressional Republicans pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biden then took questions from several pre-selected reporters, saying he was given a \u201clist\u201d of journalists to call on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHow do you interpret last&nbsp;night\u2019s results in terms of&nbsp;deciding whether you want to&nbsp;seek another term?&nbsp;Is it now more likely that you&nbsp;will run, and what\u2019s going to be&nbsp;your timeline for&nbsp;consideration?\u201d Reuters\u2019 Steve Holland asked Biden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The president said that he intends to run, but that it\u2019s \u201cultimately a family decision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe class=\"zeen-lazy-load-base zeen-lazy-load\" title=\"Biden to hold press conference amid surprising midterm results\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"about:blank\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BjXvJkeEQlE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/noscript>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy intention is&nbsp;that I run again, but I am a&nbsp;great respecter of fate, and&nbsp;this is ultimately a family&nbsp;decision.&nbsp;I think everybody wants me to&nbsp;run, but we\u2019re going to have&nbsp;discussions about it, and I&nbsp;don\u2019t feel any hurry one way or&nbsp;another to make that judgment&nbsp;today, tomorrow, whenever, no&nbsp;matter what my predecessor does,\u201d Biden said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy guess is it&nbsp;will be early next year we make&nbsp;that judgment,\u201d he added, saying that he and first lady Jill Biden hope to first&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/10\/18\/biden-set-vacation-delaware-two-weeks-before-midterms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">take a week<\/a>&nbsp;to \u201csneak away\u201d between Thanksgiving and Christmas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NBC\u2019s Kristen Welker pressed Biden on whether exit polls which found that&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/politics\/live-news\/midterm-election-results-livestream-voting-11-08-2022\/h_bf0c1f0c005964d5426f3493e96b2a30\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">over two-thirds<\/a>&nbsp;of Americans think he should not run in 2024 will have an impact on his decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t,\u201d Biden responded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Welker then asked Biden if he had a message for those Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWatch me,\u201d Biden replied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biden was also asked what he plans to do differently \u201cto change people\u2019s opinion of&nbsp;the direction of the country\u201d in the next two years as he contemplates another term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNothing.&nbsp;Our intention is to run again.&nbsp;That\u2019s been our intention.&nbsp;Regardless of the outcome of&nbsp;this election,\u201d Biden said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SOURCE: <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/11\/09\/discussions-biden-2024-run-midterms-2022\/\">https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/11\/09\/discussions-biden-2024-run-midterm<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Joe Biden said at a Wednesday press conference that he will discuss the issue with his family before officially announcing his 2024 presidential run.
