As per the plaintiff&#8217;s allegations, the burger was contaminated because of inadequate handwashing practices and the food was not appropriately cleaned, inspected, or verified for safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Within (24) hours of consuming the Wendy\u2019s double cheeseburger, Mrs. Vogt felt nauseous and began to have gastrointestinal abnormalities,&#8221; the lawsuit states.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20370%20247'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/dailypatriotreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/wendys-cheeseburger-320x240.webp\" alt=\"wendy's cheeseburger\" class=\"zeen-lazy-load-base zeen-lazy-load wp-image-17843\"\/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailypatriotreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/wendys-cheeseburger-320x240.webp\" alt=\"wendy's cheeseburger\" class=\"wp-image-17843\"\/><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>After consuming the contaminated burger, Vogt was diagnosed with several medical conditions such as severe sepsis, E.coli infection, septic shock, cerebral hemorrhage, and acute gastrointestinal bleeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She received treatment in the hospital for approximately two months and was subsequently moved to a second hospital on August 28.
