President Joe Biden frequently exploded in volcanic, F-bomb laden rants at White House reminders of his predecessor, former President Donald J. Trump according to a new book offering an inside glance at the early part of the deeply unpopular leader\u2019s time in office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The book, one of the first in a likely torrent of hagiographies depicting the ill-tempered octogenarian as a heroic if not historic figure reveals that Biden was constantly triggered<\/a> over \u201csmall reminders\u201d of the nation\u2019s 45th president, particularly a big screen television and golf simulator that would allow Trump, an avid golfer, to play virtually against the backdrop of some of the world\u2019s most famous courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2018What a f**king a**hole,\u2019 Biden said, showing the contraption to a guest,\u201d writes author Chris Whipple in the forthcoming The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden\u2019s White House <\/em>which is set to be released later this month, one of many examples of the lifelong Democrat politician\u2019s intense hatred for Trump and his America first approach to governance as revealed by media outlets that have received advance copies of the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In another excerpt from the book, this one reported<\/a> by The Hill, describes a foul-mouthed Biden\u2019s fury over the crisis at the border where illegal aliens have been swarming in increasing numbers ever since he was sworn in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMeanwhile, illegal immigrants kept arriving. And Biden was furious,\u201d the book says according to the outlet. \u201cAides had rarely seen him so angry. From all over the West Wing, you could hear the president cursing, dropping f-bombs (he\u2019d always apologize when women were present).\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt was just the frustration of a lack of solutions,\u201d Whipple writes a senior adviser said. \u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018how would you feel if you were me and these were the solutions you had?\u2019 It\u2019s the weight of the presidency, right?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The author also described Biden as being \u201con a short fuse\u201d on another issue later in the year, \u201cEarly in his term he had reserved the f-bomb mostly for discussions of the southern border, but lately he was using it more often,\u201d the book says according<\/a> to Fox News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The book also says that Biden demanded that the Resolute Desk be removed from the Oval Office simply because the historic piece of furniture \u2013 a gift from Britain\u2019s Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1880 which has been used by numerous presidents \u2013 was used by Trump, wanting it to be replaced by the desk used by Democratic party icon Franklin D. Roosevelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2018FDR\u2019s desk \u201ccouldn\u2019t be moved from the Roosevelt estate at Hyde Park, NY,\u2019\u201d Whipple writes, so the Resolute Desk remained in place \u2014 for Biden, one more \u2018ubiquitous\u2019 reminder of the 45th president,’\u201d the New York Post reported<\/a> of the book which it also received an advance copy of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A paranoid Biden also feared that his Secret Service detail had been infiltrated by \u201cMAGA sympathizers\u201d who were loyal to his despised predecessor, the New York Post reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another interesting detail is the tense relationship between Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, his absentee border czar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Whipple\u2019s book, Harris\u2019 husband, former high-powered showbiz lawyer Doug Emhoff griped about the policy portfolio assigned to his wife, annoying Biden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
