House Oversight Committee chair James Comer has reportedly discovered yet another Biden family member involved in the family\u2019s unscrupulous business dealings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on Fox News\u2019s \u201cAmerica\u2019s Newsroom<\/a>\u201d this Tuesday, he detailed how newly obtained financial records show that a previously unheard-of Biden family member accepted part of a $3 million payment from Chinese Communist Party-linked figures shortly after current President Joe Biden\u2019s tenure as vice president ended in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere were three different Biden family members that received a cut from that $3 million,\u00a0including a new Biden family member<\/em>\u00a0that\u2019s never before been included in any of these investigations. So, our question is: What exactly did they do to receive that money? What was the purpose of that $3 million wire?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow, that\u2019s just the first wire that we\u2019ve actually been able to obtain bank records. There are many, many more,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new bank records have been provided by the U.S. Treasury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter two months of dragging their feet, the Treasury Department is finally providing us with access to the suspicious activity reports for the Biden family and their associates\u2019 business transactions,\u201d Comer said in a statement<\/a> Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt should never have taken us threatening to hold a hearing and conduct a transcribed interview with an official under the penalty of perjury for Treasury to finally accommodate part of our request. For over 20 years, Congress had access to these reports but the Biden Administration changed the rules out of the blue to restrict our ability to conduct oversight,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the new reports now in hand, Comer has been discovering all sorts of new bombshells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on Fox News\u2019s \u201cHannity<\/a>\u201d Monday evening, the House Oversight Committee chair went into more detail about the $3 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTwo weeks ago Sean, I subpoenaed a bank for records for three different former Hunter Biden business associates. One of those associates in particular was Rob Walker. We got his account. We confirmed that account around two months after Joe Biden left the office of Vice-President, received a three-million-dollar wire from two individuals directly associated with the Chinese Communist Party,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe very next day after that wire was received, the Walker account started transferring money into three different Biden family members\u2019 accounts, including a new Biden family member that\u2019s never before been identified as someone being involved in the influence-peddling scheme,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, this is very serious information that we\u2019ve received,\u201d he concluded. \u201cVery troubling information. It does show a pattern that the Biden family was receiving money directly from China and the question I have, Sean, is what were they doing in return for that money? This is just one account, there are many more accounts and many more associates.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stressed the latter point again during his \u201cAmerica\u2019s Newsroom\u201d appearance the following morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe media says, \u2018Well, this is a Hunter Biden investigation.\u2019 This is an investigation of Joe Biden. And we\u2019re investigating the Biden family and again, after this new batch of information, it expands,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere are more family members involved in this than just the president\u2019s son. And what they\u2019ve said in the media, \u2018Oh, this was for business.\u2019 We can\u2019t identify any business. It appears it went into their personal account,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He continued by speculating that the Biden family had been running some sort of influence-peddling operation, and all without being properly registered as foreign agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That being said, for the time being, Comer refuses to name the new Biden family member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to disclose that new name because that really changes things because what we assumed was this was just about the president\u2019s son and two brothers, but now there\u2019s a new name that\u2019s emerged,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, we\u2019ve got a problem here with respect to trying to determine what exactly this family was doing to receive these transactions from China. This is important, and I think every American should be concerned about this issue of national security,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
