Ron DeSantis has flip-flopped and removed his state from the far-left Soros-funded Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs Secretary of State, I have an obligation to protect the personal information of Florida\u2019s citizens, which the ERIC agreement requires us to share,\u201d said Florida secretary of state Cord Byrd in a press release on Monday. \u201cFlorida has tried to back reforms to increase protections, but these protections were refused. Therefore, we have lost confidence in ERIC.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Florida joined the states of West Virginia and Missouri in terminating their memberships in ERIC, following the lead of Alabama and Louisiana in doing so. Previously, the DeSantis administration&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bigleaguepolitics.com\/hmm-ron-desantis-refuses-to-ditch-harmful-soros-funded-eric-voter-roll-manipulation-software-in-florida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">had defended their ties<\/a>&nbsp;with ERIC and made excuses for their participation in the far-left voter roll manipulation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According a\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.renewamerica.com\/columns\/deweese\/230203\" target=\"_blank\">report from the American Policy Center<\/a>, Florida secretary of state Cord Byrd told election integrity activists during a private meeting that \u201cFlorida loves ERIC,\u201d and their concerns could be discounted because they use ERIC \u201ca little differently\u201d than other states.
