Moore, OK \u2013 An Oklahoma high school and junior high cheerleading coach has been charged with rape and battery after she allegedly had sex with her daughter\u2019s onetime boyfriend more than 300 times over a five-year period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moore Public Schools (MPS) confirmed the arrest of 45-year-old Westmoore High School and Brink Junior High Cheerleading Coach Jennifer Hawkins and said she was \u201cimmediately fired\u201d as a result of the allegations, KOKH<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOnce we were made aware of the situation Hawkins was immediately fired from working at Moore Public Schools,\u201d MPS said. \u201cThe safety and security of MPS students and employees is our foremost concern. MPS school officials will continue to assist law enforcement in their investigation of this matter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to an arrest affidavit<\/a>, the investigation into Hawkins began in January after the victim sent MPS \u201ca detailed letter\u2026 disclosing his sexual relationship\u201d with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The victim said the sexual encounters between him and Hawkins began when he was 16 years old, and that he would go to her home \u201cseveral days of the week to have sex,\u201d the document read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said he met Hawkins because he was initially dating her daughter, who is his age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The victim was also a student at MPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the affidavit, the victim said Hawkins \u201cbegan prompting him for a sexual relationship\u201d soon after they met, with the first incident occurring in August of 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The victim said he was watching a soccer game with Hawkins in her living room when she began giving him a \u201chandjob,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He told investigators Hawkins told him \u201che would remember that soccer match for the rest of his life,\u201d according to court documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c[The victim] stated during his sophomore year alone he would get picked up by Jennifer during lunch, driven to [her home,] and have sex. [The victim] stated he would then return to school,\u201d investigators said. \u201c[The victim] estimated he had sex with Jennifer three hundred plus times\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The victim, now 21, told investigators the sexual encounters between him and Hawkins continued for five years before coming to an end in 2022, according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The period of time he was a student at MPS while the sexual encounters were also taking place occurred between 2017 and 2019, investigators said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The victim provided investigators with text message conversations between him and Hawkins, including some from 2022 when she allegedly became \u201cangry\u201d because he had been \u201cmessaging and observing other females on social media,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDuring the conversations, [the victim] told Jennifer, \u2018I want you in my life I just don\u2019t want a romantic relationship,\u201d according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After receiving the initial letter from the victim, the MPS director of safety and security met with Hawkins along with several other MPS staff members, police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hawkins told MPS officials the victim had lived with her for a couple of years prior to October of 2022, at which point \u201cties were cut,\u201d the affidavit read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cJennifer at first denied being in a sexual relationship with [the victim],\u201d according to the document. \u201cJennifer then admitted she made a mistake and began crying and admitted to having been in a sexual relationship with [the victim].\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n When she was asked how many times she had sex with the boy, \u201cshe repeatedly stated, \u2018no clue\u2019 indicating numerous times,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She also noted that she and the then-16-year-old victim talked about his age when they began having sex \u201cand how their relationship would seem odd or inappropriate to other people,\u201d according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
