autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/noscript>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matt Palumbo Explains Why George Soros is a Threat to America<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matt Palumbo\u2019s book on George Soros has been described by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich as \u201ca deep, important study of one of the most influential men of our time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Palumbo explained to viewers why such a statement is appropriate, pointing to how Soros has for years been actively trying to overhaul the U.S. justice system by pouring money into district attorney races across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The author notes that while Soros has poured money onto the national stage and into mainstream media to enhance the already liberal journalism industry, his impact is even greater through those lower-level races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhere he\u2019s had the most success \u2013 and this has been the past decade or so \u2013 has been these state races where let\u2019s be honest, no one pays attention to them at all,\u201d Palumbo points out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Matt Palumbo joins Dan Bongino <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dbongino?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@dbongino<\/a> to talk about George Soros supporting soft-on-crime prosecutors:<br><br>&quot;His real success has been in these local races &#8230; It also gives him much more direct control over people.&quot; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/quB8GOsIld\">pic.twitter.com\/quB8GOsIld<\/a><\/p>&mdash; The Post Millennial (@TPostMillennial) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TPostMillennial\/status\/1536127412957810688?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 12, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Palumbo explains that while millions of dollars being poured into national campaigns will have less of an influence, pouring large sums into a local DA race could effectively buy you an attorney with significant influence on crime in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd the people he\u2019s backing are completely insane people who are anti-law and order, or anti-cop, pro-criminal,\u201d Palumbo said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These \u201cinsane people\u201d are in turn slashing penalties for lesser crimes, or not even enforcing laws against those lesser crimes, leading to a breakdown of society. It\u2019s something Palumbo describes as having \u201chilariously \u2026 predictable consequences\u201d on society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Soros-backed DAs he is describing end up viewing the criminals \u2013\u00a0<em>the criminals<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 as the victims all too often, and establish themselves as \u201cprosecutors for the people perpetrating the crimes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">STEVE DOOCY: &quot;George Soros has spent $40 million&#8230;trying to&#8230;elect lefty DA&#39;s all over the country, backing prosecutors who won&#39;t prosecute.&quot; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/qV5GZp8k8i\">pic.twitter.com\/qV5GZp8k8i<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DailyCaller\/status\/1617896298765758464?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 24, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Media Doesn\u2019t Cover Soros\u2019 Influence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">George Soros and the district attorneys he funds take an approach that is antithetical to the \u2018broken windows\u2019 approach popularized by former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Giuliani used \u2018broken windows\u2019 policing (enforcing penalties for minor crimes to deter major ones), and stop and frisk combined to make New York a city where tourists and residents felt safe during his tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ask residents of cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Philadelphia, or even NYC today, where Soros-backed DAs roam, how safe they feel in their homes right now. We bet they\u2019d like to see the Giuliani approach far and above the Soros approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tucker Carlson shows a new video of a Philadelphia Wawa being looted:<br><br>&quot;Why is this happening? Well it&#39;s happening because rich people, specifically George Soros, paid for it to happen.&quot; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vhUlPWJCFb\">pic.twitter.com\/vhUlPWJCFb<\/a><\/p>&mdash; The Post Millennial (@TPostMillennial) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TPostMillennial\/status\/1574943885486432257?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 28, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Palumbo points out, Soros can get his grasp into those lower-level races because voters \u2018don\u2019t pay attention to them.\u2019 But that concept also extends to the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mainstream outlets want national stories, so DA races and their ultimate effects on the community get swept under the rug, even as Palumbo notes there are 74 or 75 such Soros acolytes in office today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They might not make for good stories for ratings on national broadcasts individually, but&nbsp;<em><strong>74 districts<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;where laws are not enforced and criminals are allowed to rule the roost does collectively make a compelling news story or column. And it certainly affects many, many Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even Fox News, which has leaned into the reporting somewhat, has had difficulty addressing the topic. It was just over two years ago, just a couple of months prior to the 2020 election, that anchor Harris Faulkner shut down Gingrich when he tried to broach the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This is one of the weirdest exchanges I\u2019ve ever seen on TV. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/newtgingrich?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@newtgingrich<\/a> correctly points out that George Soros threw an unprecedented amount of money into DA races all over the country to elect radicals and Fox News basically told him to shut up. WTF? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/IxwcLG2gOH\">pic.twitter.com\/IxwcLG2gOH<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/robbystarbuck\/status\/1306334249105137665?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 16, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At that point, Soros\u2019 influence was already common knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2018, he&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/george-soros-texas-da\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pumped<\/a>&nbsp;almost $1 million into a Texas district attorney\u2019s race against a Democratic DA who opposed sanctuary cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Los Angeles Times ran a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/local\/california\/la-me-prosecutor-campaign-20180523-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">column<\/a>&nbsp;that year noting that the left-wing billionaire was \u201cspending millions of dollars.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The money was an effort \u201cto back would-be prosecutors who want to reduce incarceration \u2026 revamp a bail system they contend unfairly imprisons poor people before trial.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We aren\u2019t allowed to talk about this <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2Mlj0Sqhuc\">pic.twitter.com\/2Mlj0Sqhuc<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Jack Posobiec \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 (@JackPosobiec) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JackPosobiec\/status\/1306340240630730752?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 16, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faulkner would later apologize for having Gingrich cut off during the segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his review of Palumbo\u2019s book, Gingrich remarked: \u201cThe degree to which Soros has infiltrated virtually every aspect of public policy is alarming and should cause great concern for every American.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That book and The Political Insider\u2019s exclusive interview with its author might be the only place that adequately addresses that concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/watch-author-matt-palumbo-reveals-why-george-soros-is-the-most-dangerous-man-in-america\/\">https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/watch-author-matt-palumbo-reveals-why-george-soros-is-the-most-dangerous-man-in-america\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Matt Palumbo, author and content manager for the Bongino Report, sat down with The Political Insider\u2019s own Brett Smith to discuss his book and explain why he views George Soros as the most dangerous man in America.
