According to the Nielsen firm, 27.3 million people watched the president\u2019s speech on major broadcast and cable news networks, which is a decrease of roughly 28% from the 38.2 million viewers of Biden\u2019s speech in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That, though, is less than the norm for previous administrations. For instance, 74 people on average agreed with Trump\u2019s SOTU address, but of them, 54 percent said they agreed \u201cvery\u201d strongly, compared to the 38 percent who agreed with Biden\u2019s speech on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, the percentages of those who said they thought former President George W. Bush\u2019s and former President Barack Obama\u2019s SOTU addresses were \u201cextremely\u201d good were 50 percent and 53 percent, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
