US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is being accused of mocking black clergymen after going on a bizarre rant during a Congressional debate on removing Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Ultimately, despite AOC\u2019s apparent religious fervor, Somali-born Rep. Omar was booted from the committee, though not because she was married to her brother and publicly sympathizes with Al-Qaeda, but because Republicans are concerned with her lack of support for Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t tell me <\/em>that this is about a condemnation of antisemitic remarks when you have a member of the Republican Caucus who has talked about Jewish space lasers,<\/em>\u201d AOC said from the House floor while throwing her hands in the air and bouncing her body up and down in a manner similar to the TV caricatures made to mock southern or black Evangelical preachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Behind her, fellow far-left Rep. Cori Bush appeared rather amused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis is about targeting women of color in the United States of America!\u201d AOC went on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDon\u2019t tell me!\u201d she exclaimed. \u201cBecause I didn\u2019t get a single apology when my life was threatened.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n At another point in her floor speech, AOC claimed that \u201cas a New Yorker,\u201d she is disturbed that the \u201clegacy\u201d of 9\/11 has led to \u201cdiscrimination\u201d against Muslims in the United States though, as many have pointed out in online comment sections, Islamic migration into the United States increased to record levels only after 9\/11, and those American\u2019s who\u2019ve questioned it have quickly been maligned as racists and \u201cIslamaphobes\u201d by people like AOC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Previously, Ilhan Omar has minimized, and been accused of outright mocking 9\/11, dismissing the massive terrorist attack that killed thousands of American citizens as just another time that \u201csome people did something.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Tent Revival featuring AOC.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n pic.twitter.com\/SWbrWguNjo<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014 Juanita Broaddrick (@atensnut) February 2, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Previously, at a convention of Al Sharpton\u2019s National Action Network, Rep.
